Discord does not detect Halo infinite because it is not a registered game. To add a game to Discord, you must first register it through the Discord application. You can open the Discord application and go to Settings > Game Settings. You may access your Discord server from here.
Why does Discord not support Halo Infinite?
There are several potential causes for this problem. First, check sure Discord is installed on your computer and is up to date. Try reinstalling Discord if you’re still having issues.
If that doesn’t work, your antivirus software may prevent Discord from working correctly. Try temporarily disabling your antivirus software and see if that fixes the issue. If you’re still having problems, kindly contact our support staff for more help. Don’t worry if you can’t get Discord to work with Halo Infinite.
Outdated versions can sometimes cause problems with connecting to games. Try rebooting your computer if you’re still having issues. This can help clear up any potential problems with your Discord installation.
Overlays Turned on
Discord Overlays appear to be disabled by default for the Halo Master Chief Collection. To enable Discord Overlays, you must go into the settings menu and change the setting to enabled. Once enabled, you can see the Discord Overlay while playing Halo. Discord Overlays can be a great way to stay connected with your friends while playing Halo. They allow you to see who is talking and what they are saying without having Alt+Tab out of the game. However, they can also be a distraction, so it is up to you whether or not to enable them.
If you want to get more out of your Discord experience, you can enable Discord Overlays! This feature allows you to see information about your Discord server and channels, as well as who is talking, without leaving your current window. Here’s how to enable Discord Overlays:
1) Open the User Settings menu by clicking on the cog icon in the bottom left corner of the Discord application.
2) Navigate to the Overlay tab.
3) Toggle the Enable in-game overlay switch to ON.
4) Select the games you want to enable Discord Overlays for.
5) Click the Update button.
That’s all there is to it! Once you’ve enabled Discord Overlays, you’ll be able to see information about your server, channels, and who is talking, all while you’re in-game.
Customize Display Settings
In Discord, you can customize your display settings to change the client’s appearance to your liking. Click on the gear icon in the client’s lower-left corner to change your display settings. You will then show the settings menu. In the left column, select the “Appearance” tab.
The first option is “Theme.” Discord offers two distinct themes: light and dark. The light theme is the default Discord theme, while the dark theme is a darker, more subdued theme. You can also enable or disable Dynamic Backgrounds in the “Appearance” tab. Dynamic Backgrounds are animated backgrounds that change based on the time of day.
The next option in the “Appearance” tab is “Text Size.” The next option is “Display Mode.” Discord offers two different display modes: compact and full. The compact way condenses the client so that it takes up less space on your screen, while full mode expands the client to its full size.
The final option in the “Appearance” tab is “Input Settings.” Here, you can change how Discord handles your input. The first option is “Text to Speech.” This allows you to have Discord read text aloud to you. The next option is “Auto-Play Gifs.” This will enable gifs to play automatically when you hover over them.
That’s all there is to customizing your Discord display settings!

You can turn off chat on Discord or Halo Infinite in a few different ways. The most common way is to simply go into your Discord settings and turn off the “Enable Chat” option. You can also disable chat by typing “/disable chat” into the chat window. If you want to disable all communication with other players, you can type “/silence” into the chat window.

Finally, there are a few possible reasons why Halo Infinite might not be detected by Discord. The first possibility is that the game simply isn’t compatible with Discord. Another opportunity is that the game files are corrupt or incomplete, which would prevent Discord from being able to detect the game properly. Finally, it’s also possible that Discord is experiencing technical difficulties preventing it from catching Halo Infinite.
